Summary:
The Nurse Manager for this new 12-bed intensive care and 24-bed intermediate care unit will play an integral part in decision making related to staffing, policies, and shaping the culture of the department. This individual will partner with the Nursing Director to assure department operations are carried out effectively. The Manager will evaluate nursing service needs relative to the needs of the patients, promote the professional growth of all nursing service employees by providing opportunities for staff development programs, as well as enforcing hospital standards and policies. The Nurse Manager will also be responsible for staff selection, performance evaluations, supervision, scheduling, and training. They will make recommendations relative to equipment and supplies, and perform quality assurance audits. The Manager will appraise current nursing practice and make recommendations relative to current best practice and procedures. MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a Master's Degree in Nursing required. 5 years clinical experience required. Progressive leadership experience required. Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required. PREFERRED

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Nursing, Healthcare ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
