Business Solutions Operations Specialist

The position has the primary responsibility to provides error free documentation that is a result of quality due diligence on Commercial Loans up to $1,000,000.
The responsibilities include the ability to review approvals generated through the Commercial Solutions unit and the supporting documentation to accurately determine the required due diligence and demonstrate the ability to review the information to ensure proper documentation and ultimately prepare error free loan documents.
Additional duties include the establishment ticklers for important dates, outstanding documents and facilitating resolution including responding to exception reporting.
The position requires the ability to work with Underwriters, the Sales Force, and external vendors to provide a complete Underwriting package.
Essential Job Responsibilities1.
Coordinates the entire due diligence process for all decisioned loans Reviews Standard Conditions on each approved loan and orders the appropriate supporting information ie.
, property reports, floods, ordering appraisal bids, EDR's, etc.
2.
Verifies that all due diligence complies with the terms, conditions, position of collateral, etc.
of the loan and takes action to resolve any discrepancies to ensure the quality of the Credit quality of the decision.

Responsible for the entire due diligence process up to $1,000,000 in aggregation;4.
Works closely with the Underwriters, Financial Solutions Center Managers and Business Solutions Specialists (BSSs) in preparation of Commitment Letters and Title Policy Engagement Letters.
5.
Establishes ticklers for important dates, outstanding documents and facilitating resolution including responding to exception reporting.

Maintains a close working relationship with the BSSs to ensure a complete package is received in accordance with all conditions of the loan approval and by resolving any internal issues by providing administrative support, while utilizing the knowledge of banking products and services.
7.
Prepares and reviews loan packages, including the correction of any deficiencies by follow up with the appropriate staff.
8.
Works to ensure accurate reporting regarding key compliance regulations including reporting surrounding HMDA and CRA as primary examples.
9.
Verifies data entry (B2B fields) in the underwriting system (B2B) to ensure error free documentation and upload processes.
10.
Utilizes LaserPro to produce error free Loan Documentation.
Utilizes the appropriate system in the preparation of all necessary documentation for SBA Products including working with the SBA Department for a complete SBA package.
11.
Prepares documentation for all document types including modifications that result in change in terms, collateral releases, subordination requests, etc.
12.
Communicates with the BSS's and closing personnel (attorneys and closing agents) in scheduling of closings and resolution of closing issues.
13.
Processes Turndown and Withdrawn loans and prepares declination letters as needed.
14.
Works to ensure a favorable customer experience by controlling and efficiently advancing the loan through the workflow from decision to booking.
15.
Monitors adherence to bank policies and procedures within the operations area and takes appropriate action to correct improper activities and deficiencies, and informs other team members of changes, as directed by the department manager.
16.
Provides coaching to the branch staff as needed, on loan concerns within the operations area of responsibility.
17.
Provides operational support (all other duties as assigned) throughout the loan process to the department manager, operations manager, underwriters, portfolio managers, and internal clients of the department.
Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications1.
High School diploma or equivalent experience with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience within a financial industry is required.
2.
Proficient reading, writing, grammar, analytical, mathematical, communication and interpersonal relation skills are required.
3.
Knowledge of compliance regulations related to the position is preferred.
4.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also required.
5.
